PA66 Lanxess AKV30H2.0 Resin

PA66 Lanxess AKV30H2.0 Resin

Material Introduction: PA66 Lanxess AKV30H2.0 (Germany Lanxess) is a high‑performance 30% glass‑fiber‑reinforced heat‑stabilized PA66 engineering plastic. It delivers high strength, high rigidity, excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability, together with favorable electrical‑insulation performance and HB‑grade flame retardancy. Its intrinsic water‑absorption property will affect dimensional stability and partial performances; strict drying is mandatory before processing.

Main Applications

Automotive industry: Cylinder‑head covers, engine bases & housings, door handles, lock‑system components, wheel trims, automotive lock levers, ashtrays, switches, fuel‑cap parts, intake grilles, radiator shrouds, lamp holders, oil‑filter housings, gear‑shift levers and other under‑hood & interior components.

Electronic‑electrical industry: Insulating parts such as connectors, coil bobbins, timers, circuit‑breaker covers, switch housings, sockets and joints.

Mechanical parts & Industrial fittings: Industrial gears, bearings, pulleys, pump housings, high‑stress technical components, enclosures, shrouds, power‑tool housings, motor housings, kitchen‑ware articles and sports‑equipment parts.

Other fields: Door‑window hardware, home‑appliance components, sporting goods, toy products and cable ties.

Injection Molding Parameters

Processing Item Recommended Range / Condition Notes & Explanations
Drying Treatment Dry at 85 ℃ in hot‑air dryer. Sealed unopened material may skip drying. For opened packages, dry at 85 ℃; vacuum‑dry at 105 ℃ for 12 h if moisture>0.2%. Critical operation. Prevent hydrolysis‑induced bubbles, silver streaks and mechanical‑property deterioration. Use immediately after drying or seal and keep warm properly.
Melt Temperature 290 ℃ Fine‑tune according to equipment and part geometry. Avoid temperature>300 ℃ or long residence‑time to prevent material degradation.
Mold Temperature 80 ℃ Proper mold temperature ensures good crystallinity and mechanical performance.
Injection Pressure Adjust per product & mold design Higher injection pressure may be required for glass‑fiber‑reinforced grade.
Injection Speed 200 mm/s High‑speed injection facilitates melt filling.
